Album art contest organised by =BassDerek This one was a little rushed, but I kinda like the finished concept. Oculus is latin for eye, so naturally the band wanted an eye or sight theme for the cover art. I decided to use Apophysis and create a fractal image of an eye ball, including the fibre strands and nerves that link it to the brain. However, when finished, the image also took on that of a fireball. I quite liked the result, and the different spin that it put on the design. As usual, choice of font and text placement took FOREVER...... it works... just, lol As requested (hey derek!) by the band, a full size image, at 1425 x 1425 pixels and 300dpi is available upon request. D |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
